Wah Hing Fung

Roger Wah Hing Fung passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Burnaby, British Columbia at the age of 82. Roger was born June 16, 1940 in Hong Kong to his father, Lin Kwong FUNG and his mother, Won High FUNG. He immigrated to Montreal, Canada with his then wife, Diana, to raise their two young boys, Johnny and Philip. The family eventually moved to BC and lived in Vancouver and Burnaby for the past 42 years. Roger is also the proud grandfather to Nicholas and Patrick.

He enjoyed swimming and walking with all his friends in the morning at the community center.

He also enjoyed reading the morning Province Newspaper and watching his favorites TV shows NCIS, FBI and SWAT.

The family would like to thank the staff at Burnaby General Hospital and Royal Columbian Hospital for the time that he was there.

Roger will be lovingly remembered and missed by his family, relatives and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held Monday, October 17, 2022 at 1:30 PM with Visitation/Viewing starting at 12:30pm at Glenhaven Memorial Chapel, 1835 E Hastings St, Vancouver, British Columbia.
