Violet May Marsh passed away on August 9, 2023 in Vancouver at the age of 99 years.
Violet was born in Manor Park in East London on September 16th, 1923 to William and Kate Marsh. Her proudest moments were serving in the Auxiliary Territorial Service (ATS) as a private during World War II.
She travelled through New Zealand before settling in Vancouver, joining her older sister, Kath and Kath's husband Boyd.
She worked as a Stenographer in Medical Records at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver before retiring.
Her favourite activities in her later years were going to the gym and the pool for Aquafit.
Violet will be remembered by many who had the opportunity to meet her.
