Thomas Constantine Thodos

September 15, 1925 - October 27, 2012

Our beloved father, brother, Papou, cousin, uncle and friend passed away peacefully in hospital after a short illness. Predeceased by his loving wife of 39 years, Dora on February 23, 1995. Also by his sister Tena Kosebas on Aug. 19, 2012. Tommy was born and raised in Vancouver, B.C. to proud Greek immigrant parents Gus and Martha Thodos. Survived by sister Aliki; sons Costa and Mark (Krista), grandsons Cole and Luke; daughter Dori- Ann Stubos (George) and granddaughter Josephine"Josie". Tom worked at Western Canadian Raw Fur Auction Sales for many years where he eventually became vice-president. He gave generously of his time to the community. Most significantly to the Hellenic Community of Vancouver. Dad could often be found sitting on his back porch admiring his beautiful flowers. He will be dearly missed. Prayers wil be held on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012 at 7:00 pm at St. George's Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 4500 Arbutus Street, Vancouver where a Funeral Service will be held on Friday, Nov. 2, 2012 at 11:00 am with Father Demetrios Partsafas officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you kindly make a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or The Kidney Foundation.
