Sui Yee Leong

Pre-deceased by husband, Ying Tong. Sui is survived by her daughter, Linda (Peter) and son John (Betty) and grandchildren Shaun (Esther), Chris (Airi), Ashley (Christopher James) and Stephanie (Zane) and great granddaughters, Alyssa and Zoey. Sui was born in Calcutta, India and married Ying Tong Leong in 1951. They immigrated to Vancouver in 1966.

Mom was a kind, generous and caring person who will always be remembered for her quiet strength, independence and ever present smile. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Vancouver General Hospital, Mount St. Joseph Hospital, and St. John’s Hospice for their compassionate care.

As per Mom’s request only immediate family at the service.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to the BC Cancer Agency, VGH Hospital Foundation, Mount St. Joseph Hospital (Providence), St. John’s Hospice, or a charity of your choice.
