Born in Canton, China, passed away peacefully September 8, 2017 surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by husband Ying Fat, daughter Kay, son-in-law Charlie. Survived by son Michael (Deanna), son-in-law Monty Jang; daughters Diane (Joe Chan), Theresa, Fontaine; grandchildren Randal (Janice), Jaclyn and Ryan, Edward (Clara), Queenie (Bill), Jeannie (Ronnie), Raymond (Donna), Donna (Mike), Amanda, Jordan and Ashley; great-grandchildren Olivia and Kyle, Abraham (Catherine), Elizabeth (Eric) and Rachel, Fraser, Kelly, Samantha and Curtis, Melissa (Brian) and Britanny, Alex and Lauren; great-great-grandson Christian; nephew Stephen, niece Stephanie (Dan); grandnephew James and grandniece Christina Sue lived a full and generous life. She juggled raising five children and working alongside her husband. Taking on a new chapter she partnered with her son-in-law and daughter in their restaurant business where she honed her culinary skills. She gave new meaning to "hard work and commitment". Somehow in her busy schedule managed to help raise her grandchildren and squeeze in a weekly game of mah jong. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, sewing and cooking. Sue loved unconditionally and her strong belief in family transcended in everything she did. We will miss her dearly and forever be in our hearts. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and aides at Purdy 2 for their care and friendship over the past seven years. A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, September 20, 10:00 a.m. at Glenhaven Memorial Chapel, 1835 E. Hastings Street. Interment to follow at Ocean View Cemetery.
