Missing my Pickleball buddy! RIP Peter!!


I have many fond memories of Peter who I just had the opportunity to meet in the last three or four years. 
He was a lovely guy and I wish I had met him many years earlier. Ours was primarily a Pickleball association and we played weekly for several years. Such an engaging smile and delightful competitor. 
He was always there to coach or tease and he delighted in passing you down the line with his quick release. 
I always enjoyed his stories of life in SA and how he managed in the early years in Canada. 
My condolences to all of Peter's family. He is  missed around the Club by many.

Peter's wit, skill and grace about our Pickleball courts at the Arbutus Club  will be sorely missed. 
Although I have only known  Peter a short couple of years I did come to appreciate his sense of humour and his competitive spirt. He was so much fun to play with on the court. Tricky, sly, difficult to read, come to mind. Your regular partners will miss you greatly.
I know he was a keen competitor in many sports through most of his life. A force to be reckoned with!
I feel very privileged have met Peter and had him share some lovely and humorous stories with me.
Rest in peace, Peter. 

Peter, most assuredly will be greatly missed by Doug & Marney. A valued associate and dear friend, life will not be the same without Peter’s advice and sense of humour.  A more loyal friend would be hard to find. Our greatest wish is that where he has landed he has regained his youth and is surrounded by excellent racket sports competition. You will always be a winner in our minds Peter.
