Mrs. Mary Yuen

December 27, 1927 – August 22, 2015

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of beloved Mary Yuen, who left us peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Mary is survived by her devoted husband Pete, daughter Sandy (Phil), son Craig, grandchildren Kaitlin, Sarah (Brandon), Jonathan (Lily), sister Susie and many nieces and nephews.

Mary and Pete were blessed to have an extremely happy marriage – full of love, laughter and pride of her family, they recently celebrated their 60th anniversary. She will always be remembered as a generous, loving and kind wife, mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend. Ever graceful, she was highly regarded wherever she went, especially in the neighbourhood in which she lived during her entire married life in the home that Pete built for her before their marriage. It was her comfort zone. Her home was her castle and the family, relatives and friends were the jewels.

Visitations are open to family and friends at Hamilton Harron, 5390 Fraser Street on Wed Aug 26 from 6 to 8 PM. Funeral will be private.
