Jo-Anne dedicated her life to serving her community, actively participating in numerous charitable and social groups. Her involvement brought her immense joy, and she valued every moment spent volunteering.
A kind, caring, and beautiful soul, Jo-Anne offered comfort and solace to many, asking little in return. One of her favorite sayings was, “Take care, Lovey,” a testament to her nurturing nature.
Jo-Anne had many passions, including gardening, yoga, bike riding, and traveling. She adored spending time with her family and friends around the world. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, her family was the center of her universe.
Jo-Anne is survived by her loving husband, Jacob; her children, Ian Rempel (Andrea Malgie) and Erin Cheuk (Kevin Cheuk); and her cherished grandchildren, Bennett and Holland Cheuk.
