Born in Suva, Fiji, Mahendra moved to Vancouver in 1980 and worked as a teacher, realtor, and insurance broker. Mahen was predeceased by his father Vishnu Nath Prasad, and will be dearly missed by his beloved wife Sandhya; his loving daughters Sharlene (Walter) and Renita (Richard); his mother Om Mati Prasad; his brothers Rajen (Subhashni), Aten (Pratima) and Rohit (the late Viti); his sisters Suman (Nand), Sunil (Satya), Renuka (Francis), and Monica (Parm); and all of his loving nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral arrangements are being made under the direction of Hamilton Harron Funeral Home, 5390 Fraser Street Vancouver, British Columbia.
