Linda is my friend and my mentor. Words cannot express how saddened I am to learn of your loss. May her soul rest in peace.

Hi Poh Poh, Mom, Linda,

Asher loves you very much. He misses you. He is confused as why you are not here. He misses your delicious food. We will teach him to say "Ho Sik"; he can say "delicious" when prompted. I found the recipe book you were compiling for him. I saw your internet history and all the food you had planned to cook for him.  I hope he will find my food delicious and ho sik one day. I will try to introduce him to new foods that were second nature to you.

I can't imagine him growing up without you.

I look back at photos and see the special smiles you have for each other. He got heavy, but you still tried to throw him in the air. You gave him speed races in his wood push cart. You got that special laugh out of him we all yearn to hear. 

I miss you. I cry every time I think of what Asher having to grow up without you. Your visits, your grump, his grump, his refusal to let you change his pants.

Thank you, PDG Linda, for your meaningful service in Lions. You have left a rich legacy which we continue with much pride and gratitude.  RIP, Lion Linda!  Heartfelt condolences to PZC David and the family for the loss of your loved one.

To my sister Linda,

I want to express my utmost sadness and disbelief with your sudden passing. I can still clearly remember our years of growing up  and our happy times together. We grew apart as we got older, you were in Montreal enjoying your new life, I was struggling  pursuing my education. I am so thrilled we finally reconnected in recent  year, we spent quite a bit of time reacquainting our lost years. I learnt quite a bit about you, your children, your cooking skills and especially your grandson. You told me many stories about your past, your years of growing up, your values, your beliefs, your inclinations, your children. You texted me in August and said " Anne, you are an amazing person, I enjoy working and getting to know you better! We never get to know one another well. Now is the time".  Linda, the biggest mistake in my life is  I did not get to know you better due to circumstance and now it's too late, I am so sorry.  I have enjoyed our conversations in the past and I will cherish all moments of it. Thank you for being my sister.

Goodbye my sister Linda. You will be greatly missed.
