With a smile on her face Joyce Waring passed away January 7th. She is survived by husband Ted Waring, daughter Gail Van Leeuwen and grandchildren Chelsea and Kyle Van Leeuwen. Born and raised in England she met a charming Canadian named Ted whom she married in 1946, closed her hairdressing business, then moved to Victoria, B.C. Life constantly changed, moving to cities in Canada, U.S. plus a return to England. Her choice was Vancouver in her final years to be near her daughter and grandchildren with special family summers in Parksville. During her 95 years she touched many hearts with her warm smile and loving soul. A fashionable lady leaves us with wonderful memories.
