John passed away peacefully on October 30, 2013. Born in Kehrokabos, Kavala, Greece. John will be terribly missed by his wife of 59 years Maria; his children, Lakis (Dee), Kon (Nancy) and six grandchildren, John, Maria, Antonia, Anthya, Nikolette and Maria. Many thanks to all the doctors, nursing and support staff at VGH for taking care of our beloved husband, father and grandfather from the Sidiropoulos Family. Prayers will be held on Monday, November 4, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at St. George's Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 4500 Arbutus Street, Vancouver, B.C. where a Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, November 5 at 12:00 p.m. Father Demetrios Partsafas officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Burnaby.
