Born February 7, 1929 in Greece. Passed away peacefully on January 6, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 49 years, Vassiliki; daughters Dimitra (Thanassi), Areti (John); grandchildren Victoria, Stelios, Antonia, Juliana and Nicolas; brother Tom (Maria); nephews Dimitri (Teresa), Niko; and many other relatives and friends. Prayers will be held on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home, 306 E. 11th Ave. Vancouver. A funeral service will held on Monday, January 14 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas & Dimitrios Greek Orthodox Church, 4641 Boundary Rd. Vancouver. Father Evangelos Aravantinos officiating. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, donations to the V.G.H. foundation would be appreciated.
