Hudson Troy Walter Newman

On behalf of Squamish Nation Chiefs and Council and Member Supports Services we extend our sincere condolences to the Jewell/Jordon & Newman/Lewis families. It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Hudson Troy Walter Newman. Hudson was born to his late mother Cheryl Janine Newman and Hudson Kermit Jewell on February 10, 1979 and died peacefully at Lions Gate Hospital on Saturday June 17, 2017. He was raised on Seymour IR no. 2 in North Vancouver where he attended Lynnmour Elementary School, Windsor Secondary and Keith Lynn Alternative Secondary School. He was best known for his creative flare he was a true artist, he designed clothing and loved fashion and jewelry. He sculpted and painted custom figurines, collected comic books and action figures. Everybody he came across him knew and loved him for his gentle loving spirit.

He is survived by his loving grandmother Stella Dorothy Newman (nee: Lewis); father Hudson Kermit Jewell; siblings Cheryl Elaine Janine Newman (Jose), Chantell Gwen Newman (Tyson), Darrell Jewell, Kathy Jewell, Cindy Jewell, Kim Jewell and Ashley Gunn; nieces & nephews Cherie Ashley Mary Mcfadyen (Chris), Paul Edward Mcfadyen (Darien), Dale Andrew Mcfadyen (Chelsea), Tyselle Jewell Newman, Ashton Nelson and Nikole Ali; great grand nieces and nephews Elysia Stella Marie Joseph, Aleckzander Cameron Dale Mcfadyen, Keyara, Jordan, Dusty, Sue, Tia, Vanessa & Roxanne; aunts & uncles Nora Rocha (Manuel), Darlene Wright, Walter Newman, Glen Newman (Marlene)
