Remembering our friend and good neighbor, Hiroshi (Harry) at this time. Sending warm thoughts to his loved ones who are missing him. Hiroshi holds a special place in y heart for his goodness and for his wisdom. He taught Shirley and me much about Japanese-Canadians and their treatment here in Canada. He taught us about gardening, bee-stings for health, and modesty - I recall with a smile how we hung underwear on the clothesline and he came shaking his head saying that, no - looking out at our underwear was just not right. We smiled together at this modesty and he is now forever associated with clotheslines in a very kind and respectful way. Harry taught us about pollution, and ways to irrigate. I felt we lost a good man, a good friend and a gift to this world when I heard he had died. May he be in the most wondrous of good places now. 

I’m so sorry to hear of the loss of your father, husband and grandfather. I have not seen him in a long time but when we did see each other,  he was always so very kind to me. My prayers and thought to you all during this very difficult time.
