Edmund had been away for a year now.
This is just to express how much we miss him and remembering his good deeds!

Just before the closing of the Guest Book, I would like to quote from Psalms 25:1  " The LORD is my shepherd I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures, he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul, he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me, thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 
Thou prepareest a tsble before me in the presence of mine enemies, thou anointest my head with oil, my cup run neth over. 
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever!"
This is for solemn commemoration of brother Edmund Wong to whom we miss so much.

Time is running fast, the calendar of 2015 shows that brother Edmund had left for almost a yr now. In reality, yes,he had departed but psychologically, we feel as if he're still around us. It is just a wishful thinking, yet it would be the way in remembering of his loud voice, his style of life, his good deeds in society contribution. In every aspects, he always consider for others at the very first hand, before making a decision.
In 2005, I sent my children to England, U.S.A & Europe for further studies. It was indeed quite a burden for higher education in such countries. One day, I received a phone call from Siew Lan saying that Edmund said:"It is quite a big amount in sending 3 kids at the same time for higher education in western counties. If Hwa Vui in need of any assistance, please say so." My immediate response was:"Thank you. Is he a Banker?" She said:"Oh, ya...." Then we laughed. Fortunately, my financial situation at that time was good enough to meet the expenses. Now that our children have completed their studies, when I mentioned to them about this story, they all were very appreciated, thankful and impressive on Edmund's kindness for such offering.
My children, one in Medicine, one in Arts and one in Engineering. Although they're not in the same field, Edmund once said to them:"Should you kids wish, you could come & join our Company!" This showed Edmund had an open heart & open mind in accepting personnel from other professionals.
Our children, Lillian & I would always remember Edmund's kindness to the LIM family.
To close down, I would like to quote:"He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation."

Dear uncle Edmund,
  As in my memory, you always brought everyone a kind smile. I remembered how you encouraged us to keep working on the road and step to the goals. We saw your hard working all life long. You are such a generous and strong-minded person. We will always miss you and you will live in our heart forever.

My uncle, Edmund Wong, who was a great man to me that he made every moment counts. He was so loved and looked after every family members. He will always lived in my heart and always be missed, childhood memory with him will always be in my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with every family members.

Edmund & I shared the habit of waking up early in the morning. We made our own breakfast. He took western syrup while I took Chinese tea. We used to changing of views on current news and other issues including those of the medical field in which I'm so acquainted with. I Vancouver, after such a short conversation, he left for work and I remained reading newspaper or watching T.V. In Taipei, it was my turn to leave him behind and went to work. We have a common interest in sports. He liked hockey while I'm fond of cricket and golf. When I talked about Aikito which was not familiar to him but still he felt interest about it.
Edmund was such a man who always concerned others even with a small issue. For example, I found a kind of tea with special favour, production of northern India only available in Vancouver. Whenever I visited Vancouver, he always remember to bring back a packet or two for me. Even when he came to Taipei, never forgetting of bringing one packet for me. From this point, we can see Edmund was a dedicated man.
As a member of the LIM family, I'm bound to express our deep gratitude to him for so generously rendering aids & services to the family for decades. He regarded our parents as his own and always provided items that were needed by the old couple. Our indebtedness is beyond payment.
The departing of Edmund from this earthly life was a great loss to the WONG family. As for me, I lost a brother and a patient.
Certainly, he'll be missed by all of us in Taiwan.

With Edmund, what you see is what you get. He was down-to-earth, sincere in his dealings, totally reliable and of course, absolutely responsible. He will be missed by his many associates and friends.

Our hearts go out to Sieu Lan and her family.  This is such a loss, for us all.  I pray that you will have comfort in the strength of your love for Edmund, and will experience peace during this difficult time.  Lorne, Louise and family

Edmund was a generous, honourable, proud and hard-working man. He was loyal and loving to his family, dedicated to his profession, and interested in the world at large. He was extremely honest and upfront. As my husband Ken would say, 'you always knew where you stood with Edmund; there was no question about what he thought.'  We grieve with our sister Sieu Lan, his children Steven, Evelyn and Cindy and his beloved grandchildren Mikayla and Nicholas, as well as his brothers and sisters. We were proud to have known him and to be considered part of his extended family. He was a larger than life man who will be missed by many. It still seems hard to believe he has left us.
