Dennis passed away suddenly at home in Vancouver on Thursday morning, August 11, 2016. He will be sadly missed by wife Gloria, daughters Whitney (Dave), Hilary (Jeff), Adrienne (Ron), grandchildren Angus, Millicent, Bohdan and Bronwyn, nephews Tyler (Lana) and Brandon, nieces Alyssa and Jody, great-granddaughter Kiley.
Predeceased by parents Laural and Jack Burgess, sister Pat and brother Dale.
Dennis worked as a meatcutter for 20 plus years then another 22 years as a grain handler at UGG. He was an avid steelhead fisherman and Corvette fanatic. After retiring, he especially loved visiting and helping family and friends.
A Memorial service will be held Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Hamilton Harron, 5390 Fraser Street, Vancouver.
