David Kelly Wallington

Wallington, aged 61, on Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Saint Paul’s Hospital. He is

survived by his wife of 23 years Shona, brother Fred (Ling), twin sons Davis and Dustin, his

step daughter Kendra he raised as his own as well as Step children Sheri, Stuart, Stephanie,

Faith and Alana

Dave was born in Ontario and moved to Vancouver in the late 1990’s. Dave was a singer

and songwriter, Red Seal painter, Class 4 power engineer and worked in Maintenance for

Fellburn Care Center for 27 years. He was hardworking and fun to be around. Dave enjoyed

music, television and movies (particularly comedy and documentaries), theatre, a good

meal, helping others, fixing or making things, gardening, stargazing, and a really good

campfire.

Dave’s wife Shona and family would like to thank neighbours and friends for their kindness

and support during this difficult time. Those who wish to make a memorial donation to

Dave will always hold a special place in our hearts and will be dearly missed. He was one of

a kind and always tried to make those around him smile. Dave is predeceased by his

Mother, Father and Sister. We hope that Dave’s experience in the afterlife is all he has ever

hoped for.
