Carolyn Mary Graves

November 29 1941 - August 28 2022

Carolyn passed away peacefully after years of struggle with dementia. She is preceded by her loving husband Larry (2019) and her son Cameron (2021).

She will forever be remembered by her daughter Erin, grandsons Malcolm, Mitchell (Frazee), Spencer (Ashley), her great grandson Lucien and her dear friend Evelina.

Carolyn and Larry’s love for their family, immediate and extended, always came first in their lives. They were always there to welcome, care for, encourage, love and support anyone who was in need.

Carolyn's love for people and her many nursing degrees, took her to Children's Hospital and SunnyHill in BC where she worked as a clinical nurse specialist with the hearing loss resource centre. She travelled all through British Columbia helping young children be fitted for Cochlear implants. After retirement she worked with UBC to mark exams for future nurse practitioners.

Carolyn and Larry loved the great outdoors. They could always be found ‘sprucing up’ their back garden for friends and family to enjoy with barbecues and celebrations.

They enjoyed travelling to many countries around the world to visit with family and enjoy meeting new friends.

Carolyn and Larry's commitment to their Church has been continuous throughout their lives.
