I met Agnes through my son Brandon when she was about 13 years old. They were like brother and sister. They stayed close over the years I got to know Agnes from her calling on my phone. We would have long talks about boys then soon motherhood and family. We discovered through our conversations that she was from Old Massett Village and was Haida too. Such a small world.  As my Great Grandmother was born there and I am Haida. Agnes affectionately started to call me Ma and my son brother or bro. She was a very passionate loving young woman. I enjoyed getting to know Agnes over the years. If I can say anything Agnes was her own person. She loved her family and her children were her world. I will miss her random calls and her messages on messenger.  I know she is free and where she is meant to be. Fly like the angel you are Haida Angel with all your friends & Family .

I moved to Surrey not knowing one person and found the centre and started taking my daughter there and met Agnes and Levi (same age as my girl) and Agnes was one of the first people to talk to me she was so welcoming and friendly we discovered our Birthdays were the same day and she loved that and always mentioned it from the years to come.  We hung out a cpl times and always had a good time she always mentioned her love for her family and her kids ❤️

RIP Agnes forever missed 

Agnes was a wonderful friend and neighbor. She was an amazing woman and was so accepting and always there for others. Our deepest condolences to all of the family through this hard and difficult time we also send Our love prayers and hugs to all of the family too

Oh my where to start I have so many stories i can say one of them being at the beach.  Lol all I can say she a fighter for sure and loved all so much she sure can stand up for her self and for her babies I know one thing she loves all of her kids each and one of them. She a proud auntie to my sons she loved them very much she was so happy to hear the news that I'm becoming a nonni she was bugging me too but always sure new how to make me happy she gave me the biggest hug when she seen me right away and when she heard about my dad. I love you my best friend/ cuzzie 🙏♥️🙏 I will miss you so much. You my day 1 for sure 

I grew up with Agnes when we were younger and went to the same school. She was always happy and smiling,  won't forget her laugh too. We drifted apart as I moved away and we got older and had our own children. I send prayers and love to her children and all her family and friends. One funny story I was told by her brother is that Agnes tried to get her brother and me to go out lol when we were younger,  I didn't start dating until mid teens. We still remain friends. I knew we hung out a bit and visited her in our younger days, she always spoke her mind, she was caring and liked to joke and laugh around. She will be missed for sure, I will carry our younger days memories. All my relations  🙏❤

I have so much memories to share but one that stands in my mind today is when me Sista Liz and sissy Agnes had a lady’s night out and they sorry to say took me to a bad sick bar I sat there with my back towards the show the whole night 😳 they both wouldn’t stop bugging me Agnes sis why look I’m like no thanks I’m good and as I look up all I can see is both them just laughing so hard never in my life did I ever go with them to a sick bar again  🤣 me Liz and Agnes had a bond so much crazy memories with sissy ag that night turned out to be one of the best memories after the sick bar lol I will hold you in my heart sissy and I’ll be here to help Sista Liz in anyway I can for you 🙏🏽❤️ Rest in sweet peace tell we meet again sissy ❤️ 

Agnes was always showing up at program with a big smile and loved to laugh.  I enjoyed watching her play with her children.  I saw Agnes last November in passing she stopped said “Robie is that you? “ I turned around to see a big beautiful smile and instantly she brought a smile to my face.   She wanted to hug as did I, but the Covid restrictions left me to tell her how beautiful she is and agreed to get together another day to talk.  Until we see each other again keep shining bright as the star you are.
