William Franklin Riley

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of William "Bill" Riley, 73, of Van Buren on Friday, March 14, 2025. He was born July 13, 1951, to the late Alfred and Beulah (Wyrick) Riley. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Bill was hardworking and devoted, dedicating many years of his life to Rheem and Bruce Rogers, where he met many of his great friends. He was a devout Jehovah's Witness, building numerous Kingdom Halls and serving Jehovah faithfully all his life. He finally retired to his home with his wife of 55 years and his cherished cats. He spent his retirement helping anyone who asked and playing golf with his many friends. He also enjoyed writing poetry in his free time.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Stacie Wall.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Riley; his daughter, Terah Murphy; his sisters, Jackie Riley and Jeanie Christianson; and his three grandchildren, Kailyn Murphy, Kaydon Riley, and Emily Murphy.

Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR. A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date at Hartman Cemetery for burial alongside his loving parents.
