Wayne Morgan, 84, of Alma, passed away Tuesday, September 14, 2021 in Fort Smith. He was born August 15, 1937 in Branch to the late Jess and Ines (Rainey) Morgan. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict, had retired from Cooper Power in Fayetteville at the age of 64, attended First Baptist Church of Alma, and was a devout Christian that loved the Lord.
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn of the home; a daughter, Debbie Stockton of Sapulpa, OK; two sons, Tony Smith of San Antonio, and Eddie Morgan of Camden; a brother, George Morgan of Houston; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Family-hosted graveside memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 24, 2021 at Fort Smith National Cemetery. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
