On Tuesday, August 2, 2022, Wayne Christopher Goad was called home at the age of 46. The world has lost a selfless and loving husband, father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle, brother-in-law, leader, and loyal employee of JRT Trucking. Wayne portrayed the truest servant’s heart. He vowed to follow in the footsteps of Jesus and his word by bringing people to Christ. He was a faithful member and volunteer of Kibler Baptist Church. Wayne conveyed fellowship inside and outside of his community. At home, Wayne was a provider, caretaker, and leader. He led his household into knowing the word of God. He paved a way for his wife to know Christ. He is now walking the golden streets of heaven with his father and sister.
In the community, he would often use his career in mechanical work by helping pedestrians on the side of the road. Wayne often talked about how blessed he was and wanted to bless others. An example of this would be that he donated his truck to an employee at a local gas station who had no transportation to work. This is one of the many ways he chose to bless others.
Wayne wore many hats in the church community. At KBC he was a part of the usher team and many Sunday mornings would stand at the church doors with his best friend Jessie Jones and welcome members of the church. He was also a men’s group leader in celebrate recovery at the church as well as ministering to a Celebrate Recovery Class inside the Crawford County Detention Center. He was a sponsor to many. Wayne was intentional on being the man God intended for him to be. He was the most encouraging and motivating man in our lives. Our lives on this earth will forever have a missing piece to our puzzle that can never be replaced.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Kibler Baptist Church Jail Celebrate Recovery Program.
