Travis “Tab” Lee Williams, 82, of Mulberry passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017 at his home. He was born on August 28, 1935 in Mulberry to the late George and Ethel (Medlock) Williams. He was retired from Mead Containers and was a member of the Mulberry First Assembly of God Church and the Alma Camp Gideons. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Allie Kathleen (Oxford) Williams; three sisters, Louise Huffstetler, Lorene Williams and Shirley Hall; two brothers, Melvin and Raymond Williams; and a granddaughter, Tasha Goines.
He is survived by his daughter, Judy Weese and husband David of Alma; two sons, Ricky Williams and wife Jan, and Carl Williams and wife Angelia, all of Mulberry; a sister, Donna Curtis and husband Lonnie of Ozark; two brothers, Jerry Williams and wife Delores of Independence, MO, and Jimmy Williams and wife Carol of Fort Smith; a sister-in-law, Frances Williams of Mulberry; three grandchildren, Brittany Willis and husband David of Hartman, Myranda Victoria and husband Juan of Springdale, and Brandon Comer and wife Marlo of Tulsa; ten great-grandchildren, Brayden Meinardus, Lochlan Comer, Blaine Williams, Callie Goines, Allie and Sam Willis, Evie, Ellie, Ian and Isaiah Victoria; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Mulberry First Assembly of God with the Reverend Robbie Willis officiating, followed by a private committal at New Cemetery in Mulberry, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren
Pallbearers will be David Willis, Juan Victoria, Brandon Comer, Melton Carter, David and Adam Hayes. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Alma and Van Buren Gideon Camps.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
