Sandra Y. Ragsdale

Sandra Y. Ragsdale, 74, of Fort Smith, died Tuesday, November 20, 2012 in a local hospital. She was born January 4, 1938 in Arkoma, OK to the late Harrison and Lenora Hughes. She was a new construction inspector for Rausch-Coleman Home Builders, retired from the First National Bank in Fort Smith, and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge in Fort Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert I. “Bob” Ragsdale; a son, Joseph L. “Joe” Ragsdale, and a great grandson, Luke Kenney.

She is survived by her daughter, Theresa Carlton and husband Russ of Joplin, MO; three grandchildren, Morgan Kenney and Mattie Avey of Alma, AR, and Hannah Avey of Mulberry, AR; and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the mausoleum in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, November 23, 2012 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR.
