Rosemary Williams, 68, of Van Buren, passed away Monday, December 9, 2024 in Fort Smith. She was born August 1, 1956 in Sonora, CA to the late Marshall and Kathy (Akins) Wilder. She had worked for Walmart, and was a wonderful woman, a hard worker, and always there for family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Wendell Williams and Jim Pursell; a son, Randy Williams; two sisters, Vicky Wilder and Rita Powers; and two brothers, Harold and Ricky Wilder.
She is survived by four daughters, Sandra Williams of Mountainburg, Michelle Sorrells and husband Scott of Fort Smith, Dorothy Garcia and husband Travis of Alma, and Katrina Young and husband Preston of Van Buren; a son-in-law, Terry Needham of Van Buren; a sister, Debbie Wilder of Arizona; two brothers, Joe Wilder of Marietta, OK, and Jimmy Wilder of Birmingham, AL; six grandchildren, Chelsey Parks, Austin Sorrells, William Sorrells, Robyn Berna, Ethan Garcia, and Sean Needham; ten great-grandchildren; and a loving partner, Tom Wellnitz of the home, and his daughters.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 20, 2024 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at New Cemetery in Mulberry, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Scott Sorrells, Jonathan Parks, Austin Sorrells, William Sorrells, Tim Simmons, and Sandra Williams.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 19, 2024, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
