Roger D. Higgins

Roger D. Higgins, 62, of Van Buren, passed away Friday, August 29, 2014 in Fort Smith, AR. He was born November 29, 1951 in San Jose, CA to the late Truman and Melissa Higgins. He was a maintenance supervisor at Medical Holdings, LTD, was a member of the Old Town Cruisers, was an avid car enthusiast, loved to hunt, and enjoyed yearly hunting trips with his friends and family.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Higgins of the home; daughter, Jeanie Klomfas and her husband Scott of Van Buren, AR; son Josh Higgins and his wife Krystal of Alma, AR; sister Mamie Sisk and her husband Bud of Fort Smith, AR; brother, Ira Higgins and his wife Mildred of Van Buren, AR; four grandchildren, Jordan Bradley and her husband Bryson of Alma, Madison Klomfas of Van Buren, Lane Higgins of Alma, Kenzie Higgins of Alma; and a great grandchild, Jase Bradley of Alma.

Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2014, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
