Reba Wells, 88, of Chester, AR, died Sunday, May 6, 2012 in Van Buren, AR. She was born August 3, 1923 in Rudy, AR. She was a homemaker, a member of Shamrock Community Church for over 60 years, a welder in WWII in Long Beach, CA and also worked at Hickory Springs Manufacturing in Fort Smith, AR. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl W. Wells and a son, Billy Wells.
She is survived by four sons, Tommy Wells of Shamrock Community, AR, Jimmy Wells of Shamrock Community, AR, Mikey Wells of Shamrock Community, AR and Teddy Wells of Shamrock Community, AR; three sisters, Wanda Morland of Van Buren, AR, Alma Tudor of Van Buren, AR and Von Myers of Van Buren, AR; four brothers, Ike Crabtree of Van Buren, AR, Jerry Crabtree of Van Buren, AR, Donald Crabtree of Cedarville, AR and Junior Crabtree of Tulsa, OK; 11 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Shamrock Church in Shamrock Community, AR with burial at Kimbler Cemetery in Shamrock Community, AR under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Wells, Jonathan Wells, David Wells, Chris Wells, Austin Wells and Dustin Wells.
Honorary pallbearers will be Damien Hernandez, Steve Oliver, Nate Farrell and Jeff Crowley.
The family will receive friends from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral home of Van Buren, AR.
