Ralph B. Milholland, 74, of Van Buren, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018 in Fort Smith. He was born July 15, 1943 in Little Rock to the late Ralph and Mona Milholland. He retired from Southwestern Bell, and served in the U.S. Army. He loved the Lord, his family and church, and was generous in spirit. He was a member of Central Christian Church, enjoyed spending time with his family, watching the Razorbacks, and playing golf. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marsha Riffle Milholland.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Milholland of the home; three sons, Robert Milholland of Fort Smith, Myron Milholland and wife Carrie of Greenbrier, and Brent Milholland of Fort Smith; two stepdaughters, Chrissie Bingaman and husband John of Bryant, and Bethany Mathis and husband Craig of Brandon, MS; two sisters, Mary Lou Kirby of West Monroe, LA, and Shirley Morrison and husband Walter of Hot Springs Village; a brother, Robert Milholland and wife Celeste of Raleigh, NC; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 16, 2018 at Central Christian Church in Fort Smith with committal at Maplewood Cemetery in Harrison, AR, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Robert Milholland, Myron Milholland, Brent Milholland, John Bingaman, Craig Mathis, and Carl Fox. Honorary pallbearers will be Roy Mathis, Tommy Rose, and Ed Westbrook.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 15, 2018, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
