Paul Christie

Paul Christie, 69, of Van Buren, AR, died Tuesday, January 31, 2012 in a local hospital. He was born January 4, 1943 in Rivervale, AR. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter Christie and Pearl Eddings; his daughter, Pauline Christie; four sons, Paul Christie, Roger Christie, Randy Christie, Steven Christie; two sisters, Becky Christie, Dessie Christie; three brothers, Harold Christie, Larry Christie and Clifford Christie.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca of the home; three daughters, Regina Myers of Van Buren, AR, Loretta Christie of Van Buren, AR and Tammy Whitsett of Van Buren, AR; two sisters, Judy Sutton of MI and Betty Johnson of MI; four brothers, Lonnie Christie of Mountainburg, AR, Wayne Christie of MI, Dennis Christie of MI and Kenneth Christie of MI; 10 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

Mr. Christie will be cremated under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren, AR.

Family held memorial service will be 1:30 P.M. Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Trinity Baptist Church in Alma, AR.
