Paul E. “Butch” Bruce, Jr., 67, of Alma, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021 at his home. He was born July 13, 1953 in Denver, CO. He served in the U.S. Army and was a retired truck driver and broker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Shirley (Cook) Bruce, Sr., and a brother, Dennis L. Bruce.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Bruce of the home; a son, Paul Aaron Bruce of Alma; and a brother, Donald Bruce of Sikeston, MO.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 28, 2021 at the Fort Smith National Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Paul Aaron Bruce, Billy Ray Cook, Spider Cook, Brian Caylor, Frank White, and Robin White. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Williams and Donald Bruce.
Viewing will begin 8:00 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2021 with the family being present from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
