Norma Ellison, 90, of Fort Smith, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2021. She was born June 17, 1931 in De Queen to the late Buford and Lura (Lowrey) Turnage. She was a retired secretary for Oak Cliff Baptist Church, was a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Fort Smith, and loved playing the piano. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Ellison; and a son, Allan Ellison.
She is survived by a daughter, Darla Lale of Fort Smith; seven grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 6, 2022 at the Gracelawn Cemetery Arbor in Van Buren, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
