Nick William Hensley, 48, of Fort Smith, passed away Friday, January 7, 2022 at his home. He was born October 26, 1973 in Kansas City, MO. He had been a car salesman for Breeden Dodge and Floyd Traylor and also worked for Hansen Roofing. He was preceded in death by his father, Dalton Hensley and a stepbrother, Richard Taylor.
He is survived by his wife, Karan Hensley of the home; a stepdaughter, Keara Faden of the home; a stepson, Malachi Brown of Booneville; his mother, Nancy Perkins of Van Buren; a sister, Heather Allen of Alma; two stepsisters, Kim Ujah of Brookings, SD, and Jennifer Maurer of Marysville, OH; a stepbrother, Robert Taylor of Marysville, OH; a grandchild, Ashton Brown; a niece, Ali Douglas and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Mount McCurry Cemetery in Rudy, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Chad LaRue, Chris Morse, Lee Gregory, Michael Funderburg, Malachi Brown, Dave Pixley and Scott Hansen.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2022, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
