Michael Stuart Farnam, 60, of Van Buren, AR, died Friday, May 23, 2014 in Fort Smith, AR. He was born April 30, 1954 in Fort Smith, AR to the late Bentley and Joyce Farnam. He was a carpenter. He was preceded in death by a brother, R.B. Farman
He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Farnam of the home; a daughter, Laura Lee Shields of Bartlesville, OK; a son Brandon Farnam of Broken Arrow, OK; two sisters, Cynthia Cluck of Rudy, and Cathy Brown of Chester; two brothers, Tony Farnam of West Fork, and David Farnam of Mountainburg; one granddaughter and one great-granddaughter.
Mr. Farnam will be cremated under the direction of Edwards Van Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
Memorial service will be held at a later day.
