Mary Verlyn Williams, 96, of Mulberry, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017 in Fort Smith. She was born April 13, 1920 in the Maness Community to the late Lewis H. and Kate (Moore) White. She was a homemaker, and was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Williams; a daughter, Rebecca “Becca” Riddle; three sisters, Geraldine Shipley, Alice (Smith) Broadhurst, and Laura J. White; and two brothers, Raymond White and Joe White.
She is survived by a daughter, Alice Newman of Mulberry; two sisters, Mable White Meadows of Fort Smith, and Norma Coleman of Arkadelphia; five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Zack Newman, Matthew Riddle, Andrew Newman, Landon Bramucci, Tyler Newman, and Ryan Bramucci.
The family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 10, 2017, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
