Mrs. Martha Reichert

Mrs. Martha Reichert, 80, of Alma, AR died Saturday, October 9, 2010 in a local nursing home. She was a home maker, a clerk at Adams’ Drug Store in Alma where she retired after 28 years, a member of Concord Baptist Church, where she was also a Sunday School Secretary, and volunteered at the Kiddie Kollege pre-school in Alma. She was preceded in death by her husband; Bill “B.J.” Reichert, her parents W. T. and Myrtle Rogers, five brothers and one sister.

Graveside service will be at 10 am Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at Fort Smith National Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.

She is survived by a daughter; Terri Funderburg and her husband Gary of Alma, AR, two sons; Gary Reichert and his wife Donna of Alma, AR, Rick Reichert and his wife Susan of Cedarville, AR, a sister Pauline Evans of Hutchinson, KS, 11 Grandchildren, 18 Great-Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be Michael and Bryce Funderburg, Jason Reichert, and Stevie Joe Dufresne.

The family will visit with friends from 6 pm to 8 pm Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
