Marjorie Lou Moore Shapiro, 81, of Alma, passed away Monday, February 20, 2023 in Fort Smith. She was born October 12, 1941 in Lincoln, NE to the late Glenn and Ruth (Miller) Britian. She was a telephone operator for Pacific Bell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Richard Moore, Jr. and Norm Shapiro; a daughter, Mary Ruth Moore; and a sister, Glenda Kay Towell.
She is survived by two daughters, Darla Gonzalez of Alma, and Julie Ann Brown of Van Buren; and two grandchildren, Meghan Cree and Richie Lash.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 23, 2023 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Alma, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR. Burial will be at Sylvan Cemetery in Citrus Heights, CA, under the direction of Price Funeral Chapel of Citrus Heights.
