He was preceded in death by his father, Louie E. Whitlock; his mother, Helen (Morse) Campbell; five brothers, Jimmie Whitlock, James S. Whitlock, Billy J. Whitlock, Bobby J. Whitlock, and John D. Whitlock.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Whitlock of the home; two daughters, Hollie Whitlock and Kim Whitlock, both of Greenwood; three sons, John McClarty of Tennessee, Chris Chowles of Florida, and Brian Scott of Fort Smith; two stepdaughters, Marla Harris and husband Tom of Elkins and Annette Barnett of Chandler, OK; a brother, Danny Whitlock of Colorado Springs; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great- grandchildren.
Graveside memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Dyer Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
