Leslie Wayne King, Sr., 75, of Van Buren, passed away Monday, September 23, 2024 in Fort Smith. He was born October 27, 1948 in Fort Smith to the late Walter and Martha (Potete) King, Sr. He had worked for Modern Fence in Fort Smith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Walter and Jack King.
He is survived by his wife Renda King of the home; two daughters, Angela Pruisner (Colten) of Van Buren, and Marilyn Ramirez (Juan) of Fort Smith; a son, Les King of Booneville; a stepdaughter, Cynthia Sears of Van Buren; eleven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Alma, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be Joey King, Larry Ellison, Colten Pruisner, Charles Willis, Daniel Ellison, and Kaden Taylor.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
