Kristen D. Edwards

Kristen D. Edwards, 40, of Van Buren, passed away Friday, September 1, 2023 in Fort Smith. She was born March 4, 1983 in Van Buren. She graduated from Alma High School. She started as a Court Clerk and advanced to Court Administrator for the Crawford County Circuit Clerk.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Dannie Phillips; and her father, Michael Edwards.

She is survived by her mother, Linda Phillips of Van Buren; step-siblings, Dedra Chambley, Justin Phillips, Zach Phillips, and Jordyn Hurt; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 8, 2023 at the Courthouse Annex Building, Division 2 Courtroom, 220 South 4th Street, Van Buren with interment to follow at Pope Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Jason Testerman, Rick Dahlem, Dustin Willett, Shane Duncan, Chuck Baker, and Steve Staggs.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
