Judy Ann Jones

Judy Ann Jones, 75, of Van Buren, passed away Monday, February 7, 2022 in Fort Smith. She was born April 4, 1946 in Siloam Springs to the late Henry and Bonnie (Kirby) Place. She was a retired Registered Nurse at Sparks Hospital, and attended Bethlehem Free Will Baptist Church in Van Buren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest “Gene” Jones.

She is survived by a daughter, Heather Hoffsommer and husband Chris of Van Buren; a son, Tim Jones and wife Christy of Van Buren; two sisters, Norma Jean Lucas and Helen Sue Jones and husband Tom, all of Siloam Springs; a brother, Bob Whitaker of Siloam Springs; five grandchildren, Dakota Bandy and wife Katelyn, Ashleigh Tuck and husband Carl, Bailey Hoffsommer, Madison Jones, and Mackenzie Jones; and three great-grandchildren, Eli Bandy, Jaxson Bandy, and Everleigh Tuck.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2022 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Travis Boyd, Dennis Sneed, Kenneth Lucas, Ricky Lucas, Bobby Joe Ames, and Chris Hoffsommer. Honorary pallbearers will be Dakota Bandy and Carl Tuck.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
