Jordan Neal Mott

Jordan Neal Mott, infant son of Bobby and Tanya Mott of Fort Smith, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2014 in a local hospital. He was born April 24, 2013 in Fort Smith. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Brenda Roberts, and maternal grandfather, James J. Garfield, Sr.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers Shannon Winters of Fort Smith, and Evan Mott of the home; his paternal grandfather, Bobby Mott, Sr. of Fort Smith; his maternal grandmother, Francine Garfield of Victorville, CA; his paternal great-grandparents, Betty McCurdy of Fort Smith and Chester Roberts of Rudy; his maternal great grandmother, Elizabeth Campbell of Victorville, CA, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel in Van Buren, with interment to follow at Mount McCurry Cemetery in Rudy, AR, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Shawn Tabor, Keith Mott, Dennis Mott, and James Garfield.

The family will visit with friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
