To All Who Love Jason I extend my sincere condolences. I know he was surrounded by numerous friends and relatives who love and miss him dearly.  To Jason's immediate family who are feeling the greatest loss of a loving husband, son, brother I know you have a strong faith and belief in a loving and just God. Your faith, memories and the love of family and friends will get you through this very sad time.  My nemories of Jason: I moved from Arkansas when he was a little over 1 year old. All the pics sent from Loretta with Jason on a bike, car, bed, motorcycle, dog, laps, etc. brought a lot of joy to my life and helped fill a void of being away from home.  His spirit and personality shined through in every picture.  It is clear that he has very loving parents as do the rest of his siblings. Forever engraved in my memory is that little tot in the yellow pj's jumping on the bed waking me shouting, 'look Aunt Nell I have new jammers.'   Another memory which has so much more meaning since his passing is the day he worked up the courage to ask me... himself if he and the love of his life, Karen could rent the cabin.  He smiled and said, 'We love it here and I already spend most of my time here anyway.' The look on his face when I said yes brought a tear to my eye then and even more so now when I remember that day.  He had already begun clearing away branches and weeds from the area.  How could I say no to that 'little tot with the new jammers' who has always held a  big part of my heart? It brings me joy knowing that he had happiness being on the creek with Karen and Conner and so near mom and dad.  We looked forward to being his neighbor one day.  Sadly, that was not to be.  I will forever remember that cute, somewhat strange nickname he gave me years ago when he was a little guy and we were all playing on the creek at one of our picnics. Jason, your Aunt Nell loves and misses you so much Sweet soul rest in the loving arms of Christ.  You are loved and missed by many.

I did not share as many years with Jason as did other family and friends -- but Jason has always been dear to me nonetheless, and he will always clasp a fixed, indelible piece of my heart. 
I treasure many rich memories of Jason, but one of my fondest goes back to my childhood. I was born and raised in Maryland, unlike Jason and my remaining herd of cousins; so, I was ecstatic to have Jason and my Uncle Andrew visit my Maryland home one year when I was about 8 years old. I had a cat named Tyedye at the time, who, I admit, was not always the most sociable creature. She'd often greet our guests with a huffy hiss and a sharp swipe to the hand. But, unsurprisingly, Tyedye's cattiness was shuck to burly country-boy Jason. 
Jason spent the wee hours of the day during his stay badgering Tyedye and seeing just how many hissy fits he could work out of her. 
I had a blue bird puppet that looked more like a pom-pom tossed in a blender then attached to 2 gigantic googly eyes. It would let out a pitchy squawk at the opening and shutting of its oversized stuffed beak. One day, Jason decided to re-assess Tyedye's tolerance with the help of this Big Blue Bird, as he called it. After a few stupefying squawks in the face, it was clear that Tyedye was not very fond of the Big Blue Bird, and likely even less fond of Jason or anyone who didn't crown her queen of the house. From that day forth, Tyedye was "Tamagotchi". "It means "Cat afraid of Big Blue Bird"", Jason explained. He'd ask every time we spoke, "How's Tamagotchi doing?"
Jason's body is no longer living. But his courageous, magnanimous soul forever lives on in Celestial glory. I can only imagine the happiness he is living right now; all the perfect trails he is hiking and the unfathomably enchanting scenery he beholds in that Glorious Realm where sorrow and affliction have no place. What a joy it is to know his spirit is there, flourishing, as we rejoice here in his earthly memory. 
I love you, Jason. 

My condolence to his family and love ones.  I had this young man as a student as well as his brother and sister who were precious students.  Loretta was a good friend and her family were my students as far back as 1969  when she was growing up.  My heart feels your pain and you are in my prayers.

I had Jason as a student in elementary school.  He was such a sweet,  pleasant young man.  I know he will be missed by his wonderful family and his many friends.
