Irene R. Baldwin, 84, of Rudy, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2014. She was born January 11, 1930 in West Hollywood, CA to the late Leon and Panfila Rivas. She was a retired quality control supervisor in La Puente, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Baldwin; a daughter, Lydia Farrar; and two grandsons, Lance and Wally Craven.
She is survived by four daughters, Marty Craven and husband Larry of Rudy, Diana Ruth of Iowa Hill, CA, Dorothy Gray and husband Pat of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, and Lisa Miller and husband Gary of Alta Loma, CA; a son, James Baldwin of Fort Smith; three sisters, Helen Rivas of La Puente, CA, Santa Bolieu of Apple Valley, CA, and Mary Sanchez of Moor Park, CA; five brothers, Willie Rivas, Sylvester Rivas, Paul Rivas, Toots Rivas, and Frank Rivas all of La Puente, CA; twenty grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at the Fort Smith National Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Josh Lee, Matt Lee, Michael Farrar, Brian Mongold, Joey Maxwell, and Kevin Blyth.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 25, 2014, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
