Emily Burrows, 16, of Alma, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015. She was born April 10, 1999 in Fort Smith to Greg and Laurie Burrows. She was a student at Van Buren High School. She was a member of the Episcopal Church and had also attended Alma Schools. She was an excellent artist, and loved her friends.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Courtney Burrows of Asheville, NC; two brothers, Scott Burrows and Richard Burrows both of the home; her maternal grandfather, Donald R. Nutt of Little Rock; her paternal grandparents, Betty and Lee Burrows of Fort Smith; her paternal great-grandfather, J.R. Blaylock of Barling; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
The family will visit with friends immediately following the service in the chapel foyer.
