Edward E. Parent, 65 of Alma, died Monday, February 8, 2010 in his home. He was born May 9, 1944 in Charleroi, Pennsylvania. He was a retried supervisor for Southwest Rebuilders in Fort Smith, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and June Parent.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley, of the home; one daughter, Tammy; two sons, Ricky and Randy; one brother, Kenneth Parent of Van Buren, AR; as well as 5 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Graveside service will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Antioch Cemetery in Van Buren under the directions of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
The family will visit with friends from 7:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, February 12, 2010 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Hwy, Van Buren, AR.
