Donald Wayne Skelton, 74, of Van Buren, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025 in Fort Smith. He was born March 19, 1951 in Midland-Odessa, TX to the late Edmon and Lorene (Burchfield) Skelton. He was a truck driver.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Gracie Lane and Evelyn Skelton; brothers, Bobby Skelton and Eddie Skelton; and the grandparents that raised him, Ott and Gracie Skelton.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Janet “Stormy” Skelton; a daughter, Charity Taylor and husband Jerry of Chico, CA; three sons, Roger Don Skelton and wife Tracy of Lincoln, Jason Lee Scott of Marshall, MO; and Donnie Gene Scott, Jr. and wife Marie of Fargo, ND; two sisters, Evelyn Mae Smith of Paragould, and Marie Thompson of Fort Smith; two brothers, Raymond Ott Skelton and wife Lilly of Van Buren, and Wendel Cecil Skelton and wife Carol of Van Buren; nineteen grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR. There are no services scheduled at this time.
