Don Duncan (1948-2023), passed away Friday, May 05. Don was a Vietnam Veteran who served with the 497th Combat Engineers in 1969. He was a musician, a writer, and an accomplished artist. He loved his family, his fur babies, and caring for nature’s beauty that surrounded their home in Dyer, Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Beth; a brother, Larry and wife Martha; sons, Jonathan and wife Becki of Washington State, and Eric and his partner Brenda Schneider of Fort Smith; and grandchildren, Bailley, Ohara, Jessica, Canton, and Andrew.
The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, Don has requested that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at www.stjude.org, or a local no-kill animal shelter of your choice. Please be as generous as possible with your donations and don’t con me Biff, I’ll be watching you.
