Diane Charlene Evans

Diane C. Evans, 77, of Alma, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023 in Fort Smith. She was born December 3, 1945 in Foss, OK to the late Earl and Ethel (Sipe) Reinschmiedt. She had retired from Tyson, and was a member of Kibler Freewill Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Evans, and a brother, Billy Joe Reinschmiedt.

She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Hinklin and husband Charles of Alma, and Jodie Scott and husband Chris of Mountainburg; a son, Buck Evans and wife Tonja of Rudy; three sisters, Peggy Littlejohn, Sue Medlock, and Lavona Teague, all of Alma; and three brothers, Jimmy Lee Reinschmiedt and wife Linda, Lester J. Reinschmiedt and wife Billie, and Bobby Jacobe Reinschmiedt and wife Faye, all of Alma; eleven grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Bolton Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Hinklin, Scott Hinklin, Dylan Jones, Stanley Smith, Dustin McNown, Bruce Criele, Patrick Hinklin, and Robert Reinschmiedt.

Viewing will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.

The family will visit with friends following the service at Kibler Freewill Baptist Church, 705 West Redbud Lane in Alma.
