Dennis Michael O'Leary

Dennis O’Leary, 64, of Van Buren, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2021 in Fort Smith. He was born December 24, 1956 in Knoxville, Iowa to Richard and Margene O’Leary. He served in the U.S. Army and was a supervisor at Abilities Unlimited.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda O’Leary of the home; two daughters, Monica Jaynes and husband Thomas of Fort Smith, and Amber Bynum and husband Jimmy of Van Buren; a son, Jacob O’Leary and wife Jennifer of Van Buren; a sister, Kathy O’Leary and husband Harlan Barker of Des Moines, Iowa; a brother, Brian O’Leary and wife Pam of Fort Smith; five grandchildren, Jaylin, Laci, Isabella, Carl and Logan; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Jacob O’Leary, Jimmy Bynum, Thomas Jaynes, Robert O’Leary, Eric Waterbury, and Warren Udey. Brian O’Leary will serve as honorary pallbearer.

Viewing will be from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2021, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
